Our Experience

Having qualified at Sparsholt Agricultural College, the owner gained experience at one of the top local tree surgery companies and then moved to set up a company locally for a partnership.  This company grew rapidly and has since been sold as a going concern and still operates locally to the college.

The owner moved north and once again, gained experience locally and helped set up another tree surgery company which continues to operate in the Newbury area.

On leaving this business, Edward Down decided that with his experience and deep commitment to his chosen career, he wanted to develop his own business.  Down Tree Care was established in early 2005 and is already developing a significant reputation both amongst commercial clients and also amongst private clients.

The objective of the company is to build a growing list of satisfied clients who have experiences both our professional and our efficient service.  We hope that it will encourage you to use our service year after year.  We also hope that you will recommend us to friends and neighbours.

If at any time you have queries or concerns, our managers and Customer Liaison Officer will be happy to assist.  If for any reason you feel that our service does not meet acceptable standards, we would like to know so that we can improve.  We are continually developing our services to meet your needs and expectations.
