Who We Are
Edward Down completed a National Certificate in Arboriculture at Sparsholt Agricultural College in 1999. After several years experience Down Tree Care was established.
Down Tree Care provide a quality service to our commercial and domestic clients. We are an experienced and fully insured business specialising in all forms of tree work including sectional felling of dangerous trees. The business already provides a valuable ‘business to business’ service to golf courses, churches and landowners throughout Southern England. We also have a growing number of private clients who we work with on a ‘one to one’ basis.
If you live in a conservation area, any tree work has to be authorized by the local planning dept. And if it has a tree preservation order on it, then special restrictions apply. Unauthorized works can be liable for £20,000 fine to the tree owner and/or the tree surgeon. We organize approval on your behalf at no extra cost.
All our tree work, be it remedial surgery or complete site clearance is carried out to the exacting standards of BS3998 and whilst we carry out operations our clients are protected by £5 Million public liability insurance.
